Dashboard
The dashboard is ShieldWays' control plane. Settings you save here sync to the extension on every device you're signed in on; detection events flow back as content-free audit entries.
Overview
The home page leads with a single verdict: whether you’re protected right now. Below it:
- Status hero — Protected, Needs attention, or Paused, with the exact reason when something needs fixing.
- Setup checklist — shown until you’ve finished installing, pinning, and configuring; each row deep-links to the right place.
- Stat cards and activity feed — recent detections grouped by day, with category, action taken, and domain. Masked snippets only; never the underlying text.
Audit log
Audit is the full, filterable history of protection events. Every entry carries exactly five things: timestamp, user, detection type (PII, API key, financial, source code, …), action (Warned, Redacted, Blocked), and domain (for example chat.openai.com).
AI Guard configuration
AI Guard is where detection policy lives: the master switch, per-category toggles and actions (Warn/Redact/Block), per-tool toggles and action overrides, and your custom keywords and regex patterns. Changes sync to the extension automatically. See the AI Guard guide for what each setting does.
Policy
Policy engine holds your rule set in one place — the rules that decide what gets flagged and how it’s handled across your protected tools.
Devices
Devices lists everywhere your account is protected, offers the extension download for new machines, and lets you remove a device you no longer use.
Billing and plans
Billing shows your current plan and the Free, Pro, and Team tiers with monthly or annual pricing. Upgrades and subscription management are handled through Stripe. Pro unlocks the Redact action and the PHI and Source code categories in AI Guard.
Meeting Guard and Notetaker
The Meeting Guard and Notetaker pages configure meeting protection — covered in the Meeting Guard guide.
